This October marks the sixteenth annual Small Business Month.

Small Business Month is a national event that celebrates the many contributions of small businesses to the economy and our communities and recognizes the achievements of Canadian entrepreneurs. Small businesses are the backbone of the Canadian economy, and they play a vital role in creating jobs and driving economic growth. Every year, Small Business Month is celebrated in October, and there are many events and activities held throughout the country to support small businesses.

Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) Small Business Week (October 16-22nd)

From October 16-22 the BDC hosts a number of events for Canadian entrepreneurs to gather, learn, network, and celebrate one-another.
